Current Project: 66kV Overhead Line Upgrade for Lunsemfwa Hydro Power

An infrastructure upgrade is underway for Lunsemfwa Hydro Power Company Ltd., Zambia, involving the enhancement of two critical transmission lines—Mulungushi Line “B” and Lunsemfwa Line “C.” With a contract value of USD 473,000, the project includes the installation of 180,000 meters of Bear aluminum steel reinforced conductor and 112,000 meters of Wolf aluminum steel reinforced conductor, along with the replacement of all line accessories. The works are being carried out for Lunsemfwa Hydro Power at their facility located on Plot 5047, Main Mine Road, Kabwe, and remain in progress as part of a broader effort to strengthen Zambia’s power infrastructure.
